Course Information

This course is designed to provide a broad spectrum of students the basics in medical terminology & anatomy and physiology of the venous system in regards to venous insufficiencies. This course serves as a platform for understanding and education for the competence and professional handling of patients with venous insufficiencies during fitting procedures for compression garments. This course, along with others specific to individual areas of interest, will help to develop competencies in orthotic fitting compression garments..

• Patient fitting of garments and instructions.
